Green One is a four-storey home in South Delhi and the first individually TERI certified green residence in India, built using upcycled material salvaged from the family's original home on the same site. The house uses fly ash bricks for interior walls and ACC bricks for exterior walls, making the structure. The staggered, stacked form maximises daylight and passive cooling, and the home also uses solar water heating and low SHGC glazing to manage heat gain. The home recycles rain water, grey water, treats its own soil waste, and uses intelligent lighting systems.
