Jammu Ropeway

project overview

The Jammu Ropeway is a cable car system connecting three landmarks in Jammu: Peer Kho, Mahamaya Park, and Bahu Fort. It runs across two sections, Peer Kho to Mahamaya and Mahamaya to Bahu Fort, covering approximately 1.66 km in total and offers views of Jammu city and the Tawi River. The design focused on fitting the stations into the local topography while keeping the layout eco-sensitive. By connecting the Peer Kho, Mahamaya, and Bahu Fort temples, the project supports pilgrimage and tourism in the region, along with safe and comfortable cabin travel.
