project overview

Located in Shekhawati, Ramgarh Haveli is a conservation project aimed at reviving one of Rajasthan's historic havelis, once known for the 19th-century frescoes that adorned its walls. The project focuses on restoring these murals and traditional architectural elements, including chattris, jharokas, and decorative arches, using techniques true to the region's original craftsmanship. The work balances the fragility of the centuries-old structure to introduce sustainable materials, all while staying sensitive to the site's deep cultural and historical significance.
